As an Electrician at Pacific Heating & Cooling, you’ll be part of a dynamic, passionate team dedicated to delivering a 5-star customer experience. In this role, you’ll primarily support our Add-On and Replacement departments by performing all of the required electrical work needed to safely install HVAC equipment. Including full electrical service upgrades & electrical panel replacement and sub-panel installations, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and/or enhance residential electrical systems and components that are critical to a home’s HVAC functionality
  • Identify least intrusive pathways when adding circuits – communicate routing and expectations with homeowner prior to beginning work
  • Identify solutions to problems that were unforeseen prior to beginning work – communicate solutions with your supervisor, coordinator, and the client as necessary
  • Every effort should be made to complete the job the same day to avoid further client interruptions. At minimum, a plan should be determined and communicated with all relevant parties before leaving the job site.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems and components as needed
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets or exceeds electrical codes and standards while maintaining an aesthetic appearance for anything exposed
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in company-provided vehicle
  • Debrief upon completion of each job to include parts used and any follow up requirements
  • Maintain clean company provided attire and vehicle
  • Maintain all required professional licenses to include completing all continuing education credits prior to renewal(s)
  • Stay current with local mechanical codes
  • Complete all required forms and/or paperwork needed for each job

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Washington State Journeyman Electrical License – 01 or 02
  • Clean and safe driving record with valid driver’s license
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to discern color-coded wiring
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physically capable of pulling wires and cable through conduit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
